The Hotline Environmental Service Unit

The H.L.S could establish a very good and sound relationship with different sources of media to increase the public awareness of environmental problems, as well as promoting for H.L.S. journalists and broadcasters, encouraged to report on H.L.S, either in Newspapers or Radio and TV. e.g. On the Road Program of Egyptian TV.

In corpratation with El-parnameg EL-aam Broadcast we achivied anther success to broadcast an information after a very famous social program(Rabat EL-Beuot), this information included some environmental questions in the form of competition two episodes weekly for six months(form Feb2001-Jul 2001) with symbolic prizes, we usually invite monthly winners and give them an environmental lecture to act as massangers to spread the environmental awarenees in their regions.

In addition to the open period in cairo radio broadcast in an environmental occasions such as world environmental day through on-line meeting with the HLS stuff and also with a volateers to talk about environmental matters we can also receive a Complaints and try to contact the responsibles to solve the problem immediately.
The previously mentioned activities have been advocated the great Cairo community listeners to react with the HLS and have been increasing the popularity of the service.
Currently we are preparing a new program in coopration with El-parnameg EL-aam.
