House facility will be organized around everyday
environmental issues relationg to home, work, local
resources, group relationships and
community.
It will work with the communities to
enhance their standard of living and quality of life,
with particular emphasis on the
environment.
These goals will be achieved by
addressing community needs and supplying community
services.

Cairo
House will take advocacy positions on
environmental issues that affect the community and
will facilitate the discussion of different
opinions to come to a consensus on what is the
best solution. |

COMMUNICATIONS

Cairo House
recognizes the opportunity that exists today in using
the resources of information technology to create
learning systems that can increase the human capactiy to
build (or destroy) the environment.
Cairo House
programs will be dedicated to helping environmental
leaders build their personal and organizational capacity
to show new ways for developing
sustainably.
The emphasis will be on helping
those in the communications field to improve their
knowledge of environment through workshops, seminars and
a large environmental data base.
Multimedia
presentations, use of the Internet, regular periodicals,
and other traditional means will be used to support the
communications effort through existing environmental
networks.
