  • Solid Waste.

  • Recycling.

  • Urban Agriculture.

  • Xeriscape.

EDUCATION PROGRAMS

More information on what they have seen will be provided in various handouts, pamphlets and booklets. Cairo House will also have other publications, lectures and bibliographies available. Cairo House will share its experience gained trhough the demonstration projects it implements, by documenting it and making it available to anyone.

TRAINING PROGRAMS:

Cairo House programs will be dedicated to helping government and non government environmental leaders build their capactiy to learn new strategies for addressing environmental issues.
The emphasis will not only be on preservation and conservation of the environment but also on how to effect changes in environmental policy and practice.
Helping leaders come to consensus on the conditions for sustainability will be the first step.
Developing action plans as to how individuals and organizations can change their behavior in the context of natural systems will be the next step.
