More than 4500 youth have participated in the Campaign since its inception in 1993

Governorates and local authorities commitments in more than 20 governorates to sustain the cleaning activities after the end of the campaign.

Clean Up Egypt Campaign "To be more collaborated"

In addition to participating in this international campaign, AOYE incepted Clean Up Egypt Campaign in January 1997.
which was designed to promote sound management of solid wastes, and raising environmental awareness in Egypt.
AOYE implemented clean up and environmental awareness campaign in the area of Old Cairo, Amr Ibn El Aas.

The clean up campaign was implemented by more than 100 young people from the community as well as from other communities in Cairo.

Atraining/ awareness workshop was organised to the participating youth. This one day clean up helped to mobilise local action against the mounting solid waste management problem.

The participation of the Minister of Environment in the clean up event made the campaign a great success.
